Imalgam e-mail services are, behind the scenes, integrated tightly with all other services.
WEB-based email
All e-mail accounts are accessible and configurable from a web-based interface. Viewing received mail, drafting and sending mail can all be done using a web browser. Mail folders can be created to reside on the server for filing messages and POP3 can be enabled on a folder by folder basis. Also, email attachments can be detached and saved elsewhere in your account, or forwarded over another email without downloading the attachment to your computer.
POP3/SMTP email
The InfraServer supports basic POP3 and SMTP email receiving and sending, respectively.
Spam prevention
Imalgam blocks the majority of incoming spam mail using its own IP address black list and spam traps. Hosted email accounts benefit from this filtering and InfraServer licensees may configure their server instance to employ Imalgam's black list.
Integration
Email can be integrated with other services so that, for example, mail message addressing can be linked to a personal address book.
