The most significant structural difference of the new Imalgam website is that content previously filed within "Products" and "Services" now finds its home in Solutions. Imalgam's services and products are intimately tied so it made good sense to bring them closer together on the website. A Login area has also been added for individuals with Imalgam accounts (trial or otherwise), with a persistent Login link in the site navigation.

Most of the new content of the redesigned website falls under the Solutions heading. In this area Imalgam has furnished detailed descriptions of its web and applications hosting offerings, provided facilities to evaluate the InfraServer either with a trial web-based account or by downloading a trial version of the server itself, and developed extensive literature regarding the components, features and characteristics of the InfraServer system.

The new website also has a new look and feel. Our two objectives with respect to the design were [1] simplicity - Imalgam wanted a more traditional design, easy to maintain, low on graphics, and without browser-dependent HTML; and [2] consistency - Imalgam wanted a design that was consistent with the interface of the InfraServer, both in the client GUI and the web-based logged-in view.
